“Tis the times' plague, when madmen lead the blind.”

- King Lear

Pandemic News 2020

The world is on fire.   The theatre world that we know and love has been burning in this season of the plague.

It is with a heavy heart that we must postpone our 2020 Bard Fest season at the Indy Fringe Theaters on Mass Avenue.

Our brand has always been professional, high quality theatre in an intimate space.   With the current health crisis, intimacy is a luxury we cannot afford.

For the sake of the health of our patrons, actors, and staff,  the Producers have decided to postpone this season at the Mass Ave Theaters and return in 2021.

We have stories to tell.  We will continue to work to find a safe way to tell them.

Loki, the god of mischief, famously said, "The sun will shine on us again brother."

Here at Bard Fest we believe that promise  to be true.   We look forward to returning in 2021 to the golden rays of the Fall sun.  There we will laugh, cry, and hug each other a little too long.

Until then,

‘Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow,
That I shall say good night till it be morrow.’
