"The Original Situation Comedy"
According to legend, Queen Elizabeth so loved the character of Falstaff from Henry IV, that she commanded Shakespeare to write another play with him.
Shakespeare happily obliged and the result is this silly, zany, romp through the small town of Windsor. The play is notable for it shows common middle class people and no royalty. The play is filled with outlandish characters that are hilarious. The show is just plain fun and has delighted audiences for over 400 years.
The show is directed by Mr Jeff Bick and produced for Bard Fest by the team at the Improbable Fiction Company
